Drone Basics
What is it?
Drone Basics introduces learners to the fundamentals of drone technology, including how drones fly, components (motors, propellers, sensors), and safe piloting techniques. Students learn to control drones manually or via block-based coding platforms, exploring concepts like aerodynamics and navigation. These activities help develop spatial awareness and understanding of real-world applications, such as aerial photography and delivery systems. This course also emphasizes drone safety and responsible use.
Learning Outcomes
- Understands aerodynamic principles and flight dynamics.
- Programs autonomous flight paths using coordinate geometry.
- Identifies and maintains drone physical components.
- Practices safe and legal drone piloting techniques.
